Melina is seven months old. Happy Halloween everybody! Melina had a very active month. We watch her grow every week and we realize how much she is learning from her surroundings. She is able to sit by herself now and she discovered new sounds she can now make. Sometimes, in facts, it gets very loud! Melina will be dressing as a flower today and even though she cannot go "treat or tricking", she will spend sometime with other babies from a playgroup.

Melina cumple siete meses. Hoy celebramos Halloweeen, día de brujas. Melina a tenido un mes muy activo. Mientras la vemos crecer, notamos cómo va aprendiendo nuevas cosas de su entorno. Ahora ha logrado poder quedarse sentada sin algo que la sostena y también ha descubierto nuevos sonidos que puede hacer. ¡A veces, de hecho, pega unos gritos que asusta! Melina estará vestida como una flor durante el día de hoy y a pesar de que no puede pedir golosinas, va a pasar parte del día con otros bebés de la ciudad.

Melina is six months old! We decided to go out in the city to take Melina's photos this time. First, we visited Pioneer's Village where they were reenacting the war of 1812 (we know!). Oh, the settlers and the natives were very kind to Melina so don't worry. After this visit, we went to Victoria Park where we took this picture. The number six didn't last very long since Melina started chewing on it right after we put it in her proximity. To recapitulate we can tell you some of Melina's milestones at this age. Whether she's on her back or tummy, she can move by kicking against a flat surface, she turns and twists in all directions, she sits for many minutes as long as she is supported, she leans over to look for fallen objects and she makes more noises with her mouth that give us a clue whether she is happy or not!

Melina cumple seis meses. Pare celebrar los 6 meses de vida de Melina, hemos decidio ir a pasear por la ciudad para sacarle las fotos. Primero fuimos a una aldea colonial reconstruida. La idea era más para entretenernos nosotros, ya que Melina poco puede disfrutar de la reconstrucción de la guerra de 1812, nativos y colonos. Luego de la visita, fuimos al centro de London, a Victoria Park, donde le sacamos más fotos a Melina (incluida la del blog). Algunas de las cosas que Melina hace a esta edad son: cuando está acostada boca arriba o boca abajo, patalea de tal forma que le permite moverse de un lado para otro y en la dirección que más o menos tiene pensada, se da vueltas para cualquier lado, se queda sentada si tiene algún tipo de sorporte, busca sus juguetes cuando se le caen al piso y hace ruidos que nos hacen dar cuenta si está contenta y si está disconforme con algo.
