Mauricio and Julieta visit us in Canada. Lucas's siblings came to visit us for the month of August. It was their first time in Canada and we wanted them to get to know the area and get to know some of the customs of Canada. They were so happy to meet Melina. Melina was baptized on Aug. 12th and Karen's siblings (Romina and Joseph) and Lucas's siblings were Melina's godparents.

This is a picture taken in Niagara Falls. Melina does not look very happy in this particular shot but she did have a good time there. She did not mind all the water on her face while we were appraoching the falls on the Maid of the Mist.

Melina is doing very good. She increased her feedings and now she is also eating solids (rice cereal for now). She can play for longer periods of time with her toys as well.

Mauricio y Julieta nos visitan en Canadá. Los hermanos de Lucas vinieron de visita a Canadá durante el mes de agosto. Este fue su primer viaje a Canadá así es que aprovechamos para que pudieran conocer la región y algunas de las costumbres de los canadienses. La alegría más grande fue que pudieron conocer personalmente a Melina.

El bautismo de Melina fue el 12 de agosto y sus padrinos fueron los hermanos de Karen (Romina y Joseph) y los hermanos de Lucas.

Esta foto la sacamos en las Cataratas del Niágara. Melina no está muy contenta en esta foto, pero en general la pasó muy bien, ya que no le importó mucho mojarse la cara a medida que nos acercábamos a las cataratas en el "barquito" (Maid of the Mist).

Melina sigue muy bien, creciendo mucho. En estas últimas semanas empezó a comer mucho más y ya se alimenta parcialmente con sólidos (cereal de arroz por ahora). También puede jugar por períodos más largos con sus juguetes.

Melina is FOUR months old. As you can see in this picture, Melina is growing fast. She smiles quite often and she is very interactive. This week, she met her uncle Mauricio and aunt Julieta who came from Argentina to visit us. She is very good around them. Melina also had the opportunity to have her first swim. Her latest development is "raspberries" - she really likes making bubbles in her mouth! Her feedings are very good and she keeps sleeping for most of the night.

Melina cumple CUATRO meses. Como pueden ver en esta foto, Melina sigue creciendo. Se ríe más frecuentemente e interactúa casi constantemente. Esta semana, Melina conoció a sus tíos Mauricio y Julieta que vinieron de Argentina a visitarnos. Melina se porta muy bien con ellos, ya que la hacen jugar todo el día. Además, Melina tuvo la oportunidad de meterse por primera vez al agua (a la pileta y al lago). Su últilmo descubrimiento es hacer burbujitas con los labios. Su alimentación es muy buena y sigue durmiendo la mayor parte de la noche. Estos días de calor, se duerme más temprano.
